Ultrasound of the neck
We can assess atherosclerosis and the risk of stroke.
Ultrasound of the thyroid gland
We can assess size, knots/cysts, and signs of inflammation.
Ultrasound of lungs
We can look for fluid around the lungs and signs of fluid accumulation.
Ultrasound of the main artery
We perform, among other things, screening for enlargement of the main artery (aneurysm).
Ultrasound of the liver
We can assess the fat content of the liver, uncover scar tissue, the blood vessels of the liver, and identify benign or malignant changes.
Ultrasound of the gallbladder
We can assess gallstones, polyps, and signs of inflammation.
Ultrasound of kidneys and urinary bladder
We can look for urinary retention, obstruction, and signs of enlarged prostate.
Ultrasound of joints
Can suspect joint inflammation (arthritis).
Ultrasound of the fetus
Preliminary assessment of the fetus. Provides confirmation of life and simple assessment when needed, and estimation of gestational age.
